International mobility of cooking professors

The first educational workshop within the international project “Key Q”, whose Lead Partner is Azrri - Agency for rural development of Istria Ltd. Pazin, was held in Center for professional education “Civiform” in the period from 22 nd to 25th of November 2011. Besides Azrri, the workshop was attended by project Beneficiaries; Vocational Training Centre „Opera Villaggio del Fanciullo“ and Tourist Board of West Herzegovinian Canton, project Associates; Central Vocational Training School „Villagio del Fanciullo“, School of Tourism, Catering and Trade Pula, School for professional education Eugen Kumičić Rovinj, Secondary school for tourism and catering „ Anton Štifanić“ Poreč and Secondary tourist - catering school Mostar.

Cooking professors from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Italy, divided into three teams, demonstrated the preparation of several dishes based on ingredients from their region, and all of those dishes will be incorporated in a cookbook which will be published at the and of the project.

After the workshop in Cividale del Friuli, all the Beneficiaries and Associates of a Key Q project, together with directors of tourism - catering schools from Pula, Rovinj and Poreč, who joined them, participated at the „Job Orienta“ fair in Verona.
At the fair in Verona, cooking professors from istrian tourism - catering schools presented an Istrian cattle meat dishes which was served with other dishes on Gala lunch, organized in cooperation with the RIDI network (Italian network of didactic restaurants).
