KeyQ project
The project general objective is sustainable development of the Adriatic area by the valorisation of typical products and agro - food resources:
- Environmental and cultural heritage (gastronomic culture and exploitation of typical products)
- Human capital (competences and employment)
- Citizens education to aware food consumption and quality products
The aware development of high quality tourism can help local economies, without negative impacts on environment and natural resources, contributing to social stability and balance in the relations between urban and rural areas, coastal and inland territories of Adriatic area that shares a high level of natural and cultural richness.
The other project goal is to support the exchange of experiences among students of tourist - catering schools, professors, local citizens as well as project partners, for the development of an integrated tourist offer based on quality agro - food products.
One of the project pilot actions is construction and equipment fitting out of a didactic kitchen on Gortanov Brijeg near Pazin, within the Centre for the regional and rural development. A didactic kitchen will be an excellence centre for development of local agro - food products. Within the kitchen there will be also equipped restaurant.
